How do I power USB-Serial Converters from Connective Peripherals?

Answer:
Most of our converters are powered from the USB port and so do not require a separate power supply.
Some units require more power than the USB port can provide and so are supplied with a power adapter or have a built-in mains power supply. In units with external power adapters, the adapter provided should always be used as other adapters may provide the wrong voltage or polarity or insufficient current and cause damage to the unit.
